Drug Ban Ends For Maradona

SEOUL -- Soccer's other bad boy, Diego Maradona, playing his first match after a 15-month worldwide ban, also enjoyed a successful comeback, helping his Argentine side Boca Juniors to a 2-1 victory over South Korea's national team.

Playing before a crowd of more than 70,000 at Seoul's Chamsil Stadium Saturday, Maradona was at the hub of the action in the first half although, looking visibly tired, he was substituted shortly before the end.

Maradona was banned from playing for 15 months by FIFA, the world soccer federation, after he failed a doping test during last year's U.S. World Cup finals. The ban expired Friday.
