U.S. Rowers Win Gold

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana () -- The United States open-weight men's eight took command at the start and held on to win the gold medal at the 1994 World Rowing Championships.

The United States also won Sunday a gold medal in the lightweight women's four without coxswain, silver medals in the women's openweight eight, the men's openweight four with coxswain and the women's openweight four without coxswain and a bronze in the lightweight women's double sculls.
