Grand Duke Reinterred

ST. PETERSBURG () -- A younger brother of Russia's last tsar was reburied Friday near the tomb of Peter the Great in a solemn preliminary to the expected interment of Nicholas II and his family next March.

The remains of Grand Duke Georgy Alexandrovich, whose body was exhumed in July for genetic testing to help identify the bones of the royal family, were interred in a royal crypt in Peter and Paul Cathedral.

More than 75 years after they were killed by a Bolshevik firing squad, the tsar and his family also are to be buried in the cathedral.
