Springboks in Trouble

LONDON () -- South Africa's problems at the top of its batting order continued Thursday on the first day of the third and final Test against England with Gary Kirsten dismissed in the third over to have the tourists at two for one.

Phil DeFreitas enticed an edge from the left hander which went through to wicketkeeper Stephen Rhodes. Joey Benjamin won his first Test cap as England opted for an all-pace attack at the Oval as it tries to level the series which South Africa leads 1-0.

Benjamin and the recalled Devon Malcolm join DeFreitas and Darren Gough as England plan to exploit the extra pace and bounce in the Oval pitch.
