NatWest Final Set

LONDON () -- Australian Tom Moody scored a record 180 not out in a massive 60-over innings of 357 for two for Worcestershire to set up a meeting with Warwickshire in the final of the NatWest Trophy one-day competition.

Moody shared an unbeaten partnership of 309 with Tim Curtis who scored 136 not out in the semifinal at the Oval on Tuesday. But Surrey staged a remarkable chase for the improbable 358 target, only falling eight runs short when last batsman Joey Benjamin was caught on the boundary by Moody off the second last ball of the innings.
