More Dope-Testing

GENEVA () -- UEFA, concerned about a possible increase of drug abuse among soccer players, is considering expanding dope-testing to midweek training sessions to catch cheats.

UEFA president Lennart Johansson said Friday European soccer's governing body would be looking at the feasibility of introducing random testing as a way of eradicating drugs from the sport.

The announcement came a day after UEFA revealed that Dynamo Minsk player Valentin Belkevich tested positive following a UEFA Cup tie earlier this month.
