Simpson Offers Reward

LOS ANGELES -- Football great O.J. Simpson thinks authorities are not looking hard enough for the "real killer" of his ex-wife and her friend -- and he is putting up $500,000 to get the ball rolling.

Simpson, accused of murdering the pair, is mounting his own investigation -- complete with a claim that he was railroaded, his own squad of detectives, a nationwide toll-free number and the reward.

Simpson has pleaded innocent in the June 12 stabbing deaths of Nicole Simpson, 35, and her friend Ronald Goldman, 25. He is being held without bail and is to be arraigned Friday.

Simpson's toll-free number starts operating Friday.
