Kings' McNall Charged

LOS ANGELES () -- Facing criminal charges that could put him in prison for up to 45 years, Bruce McNall was reportedly planning to resign as president and governor of the Los Angeles Kings hockey team.

The charges were filed Monday following an investigation of alleged fraud involving nearly $236 million in loans from six banks. Assistant U.S. attorney Peter Spivack said McNall was expected to plead guilty.
