No Post Haste in Greece

Antonia Hatzakis sent a letter to her fianc? in 1987 saying she was expecting a baby.

The letter finally reached him this week, and it was opened by the little boy with whom she had been pregnant.

In the six years and eight months it took the letter to travel 145 kilometers between the towns of Chania and Iraklion on Crete, Antonia had married her fiance and given birth to the child.

The post office said it could not explain the delay.
