No Taxes for Police

MOSCOW (MT) -- Police in the Estonian capital Tallinn will not have to pay income tax this year, local authorities have decided.

Transport police and the Department of Pre-Trial Investigation will also enjoy the privilege, according to the Baltfax news agency.

The exemption will affect 200 police officers, and save each officer an average of $235 a year each, the news agency reported.
