Robbers of Afghan sought

Moscow police are looking for three suspects who allegedly stole $20, 775 in cash and 63, 000 in rubles from an Afghanistan businessman.

Abdar Raouf Sediq, 35, of Kabul, told The Moscow Times that three men wielding knives and pistols robbed him in his apartment near Kolomenskaya May 13.

The trio spent four hours stripping his apartment of electronics, clothing, and jewelry, he said.

Deputy Chief Nikolia Losev of police station 168 said Sadiq apparently let the men in his apartment.

Sadiq said he has been living in Moscow about one year importing walnuts and dried fruits from Afghanistan.
