Detour Jam on Leningradskoye

Several days ago, when I was driving back to Moscow from the Sheremetyevo Airport, I faced a terrible traffic jam on Leningradskoye Shosse. The road was jammed from the first overpass near the Voikovskaya metro station to the beginning of Leningradsky Prospekt. I spent about 40 minutes trying to move five kilometers.

My proposal is to use the following detour:

If you see a traffic jam in front of you on the first overpass on Leningradskoye Shosse, you should get in the right lane and take the first exit from the bridge to 5th Voikovsky Proyezd.

Now drive along this street in the direction of downtown and take a left onto Ulitsa Kosmonavta Volkova.

Drive straight on this street until you get to the third intersection, where you'll turn left onto Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Ulitsa. Keep driving straight until you see a small railway bridge in front of you.

Turn right onto the small road, then continue straight to the intersection at Dmitrovskoye Shosse, where you'll see a big overpass. Don't drive under the overpass, but turn right at the entrance to the main street.

Via Dmitrovskoye Shosse, you can drive straight downtown.
