Reality Show Star Charged

Investigators have charged a former star of the popular “Dom-2” television reality show with sex trafficking, the Investigative Committee said in a statement Tuesday.

Aigyun Azizova, 22, a Moscow resident, and her common-law husband, a native of Ghana who was not identified, are accused of intending to sell four women, including three Nigerians and a native of Ghana, into sex slavery, the statement said.

The suspects promised the women that they would have real jobs in Moscow but planned to sell them as prostitutes for 50,000 rubles ($1,650) each.

If convicted, the pair face up to five years in prison.
