Roman Zaitsev has been promoted to Of Counsel at Salans' Russian Litigation/ Arbitration Practice.

Roman specializes in Russian procedural, civil, corporate law, enforcement proceedings, and has significant experience representing client interests in the state commercial courts.
Roman is the author of many legal publications, including a monograph on the enforcement of foreign judgments in Russia, Russian chapter of the book  "Enforcement of Money Judgments"
(published in the United States), and a recent commentary to several chapters of the Civil Procedural Code of Russia.
Roman graduated from Urals State Law Academy, Yekaterinburg (Law Degree, 2002; Post-Graduate Degree, Candidate of Legal Sciences, 2005). He conducted international research at Institute of East European Law in Kiel, Germany and at the University of Lapland, Rovaniemi, Finland, where he also gave a lecture course on the resolution of commercial disputes in Russia.
Salans' Russian Litigation and Arbitration Practice is one of the leading dispute resolution practices in Russia and has handled some of the most significant and precedent-setting cases in the country. The practice, headed by partner Mikhail Ivanov, comprises 14 lawyers and provides first-rate legal advice to Salans' Russian and international clients.
