2nd Phase of Ticket Sales for Sochi 2014 Starts

FlickrSupporters of the national team have another chance to purchase tickets to all games and events, starting at 500 rubles.

Those who missed out on tickets for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi during the first phase of sales will now get a second chance: Ticket sales for all games and events, including the opening ceremony, resume on Thursday.

The cheapest tickets are on offer for 500 rubles ($15), while the most expensive ticket for the opening ceremony would set its buyer back 50,000 rubles, Sport Express reported.

Spectators can use their tickets to get free access to Olympic transport on the day of their event.

Sales will be limited to eight tickets per customer for most events, and to four per customer for the opening ceremony and for the ice skating and hockey competitions, the Sochi 2014 website said. Sellers reserve the right to cancel any order for more than 50 tickets, the website states.

The first batch of tickets for the Sochi 2014 Games was sold out months ago.
