Drunk Driver Who Killed Orphans Sentenced

A drunken driver who sparked a nationwide debate after killing seven, including five orphaned teens, in a Moscow road accident last September has been sentenced to prison.

Moscow's Nikulinsky District Court ordered Alexander Maximov, 29, to serve eight and a half years on Wednesday.

Maximov crashed his Toyota sedan into a bus stop at 200 kilometers per hour while drunk and high on cannabis.
