The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Kremlin wall.

The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier opened by the Kremlin wall 46 years ago today, on May 8, 1967. The tomb, a memorial of all the unidentified Russian soldiers who perished in World War II, includes an eternal flame coming from a bronze star of the memorial and a granite slab engraved with the phrase, "Your name is unknown, your deed is immortal."
