Happy birthday Spartak Moscow! Ninety-one years ago today, on April 18, 1922, the soccer team now known as Spartak was formed. One of the country's most popular teams, it is a 12-time Soviet champion, nine-time Russian champion and is commonly known by the nicknames "Red and White" and "The People's Team."
