Indian Interior Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde will arrive in Moscow on Tuesday for a four-day visit during which he will hold talks with three top Russian officials on various security-related issues, including international terrorism, disaster management and drug trafficking.
A statement from India's Interior Ministry released Monday said Shinde would meet with Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov and Federal Drug Control Service head Viktor Ivanov.
Shinde and Puchkov will sign an agreement defining the structure, function and procedures of a joint commission established in New Delhi in 2010 in the area of emergency management, the statement said. Shinde will also visit security installations and high-end training facilities on the trip.
