The opposition's Coordination Council, which has been criticized for keeping a low profile since its formation in October, created a website to inform the public about its activities.
The website, www.kso-russia.org, contains a short biography of all council members and information on their work on the council and in its working groups, of which there are 10.
The 45-member council is an unofficial body composed mostly of high-profile opposition activists and media personalities that is charged with making key decisions for the nonparliamentary political opposition.
The council's new website includes information about future meetings, which are typically held once a month, and the minutes and video from past meetings. The council's next meeting is scheduled for Saturday.
