7 Prostitutes Injured

Five men have been detained in connection with a bomb attack on a group of prostitutes outside Moscow that left seven women injured, Interfax reported.

Assailants threw a grenade packed with scraps of metal from a moving car into a group of women standing by a roadside early Wednesday.

The suspects were on their way to go camping when they decided to pick up some prostitutes. "But there was a conflict, and one of the five men threw a grenade," an investigator told Interfax, adding that they fled the scene.

Five women were hospitalized, one in grave condition, police spokeswoman Yulia Zhukova said. (MT, AP)
