Spanish restaurant Tapa De Comida has once again opened its summer veranda (pictured) for business. The pleasant patio, which is surrounded by trees, is serving a new selection of sangria, as well as its popular gazpacho. Special for the upcoming holiday weekend, the restaurant is laying on the entertainment in the form of live bands -- Amigos de Corazon will be playing on May 8, Andino will perform on May 9 and 10, and Fandango will perform on Sunday, May 11, when children's entertainment will be provided from noon to 5 p.m. All concerts start at 9 p.m.

The restaurateurs behind the Benvenuto eatery have announced plans to expand it into a chain. Over the next year, the democratic Italian restaurant will open new branches with seating for 250 people at 23a Generala Belova, 147 Lyublinskaya Ul. and 6/1 Sretensky Bulvar.

For the first time in more than five years, Vogue Cafe has updated its breakfast menu, giving it a complete overhaul and expanding the selection. New morning options include yogurt (natural -- 120 rubles, with fresh berries -- 300 rubles and with dates and nuts -- 250 rubles), muesli (with honey and strawberries or with honey, dried fruits and nuts -- both 150 rubles), open sandwiches (boiled-smoked sausage -- 80 rubles, red caviar -- 120 rubles and black caviar -- 1,200 rubles), a large range of egg dishes with all manner of additional ingredients (70-500 rubles) and, naturally, porridges (150-600 rubles), plus dozens of other croissants, fruit mixes, pancakes and so on.

Beer restaurant Budvar has also given its menu a spring update. New dishes include sheep cheese in a pastry envelope with tomato, ruccola and pesto (437 rubles), crayfish boiled in the house beer Budvar with fresh herbs and lemon (158 rubles) and Czech-style fried carp with baked potato, vegetable salad seasoned with sour cream and herbs (912 rubles).
