FSB Spruces Up Web Site

The Federal Security Service unveiled a new version of its web site Tuesday, featuring lighter colors and an airier layout.

Like the older version, the site, located at, contains a news section, contact details and a history of the organization, including biographies of all its directors since 1917.

"Now, access to timely information about various aspects of the security services' work has been implemented on a whole new level of quality and has achieved maximum ease of use," the FSB said in a statement. (MT)

Medvedev to Travel to China

President-elect Dmitry Medvedev said Tuesday that he would travel to China as part of his first foreign visit following his inauguration next month.
