3 Elderly Voters Die

At least three elderly voters died in polling stations during State Duma elections Sunday.

A 74-year-old woman died of an apparent heart attack at 9:30 a.m. in Rostov-on-Don, Interfax reported. The woman had been in poor health.

In Yekaterinburg, an elderly woman died while voting, Interfax reported. The cause of death was unclear. In the Moscow region city of Podolsk, an elderly man died after suffering a stroke, RIA-Novosti reported.
